Abstract
Mystical stories can be one of the practical sources for improving spiritual intelligence in children; But since some of these stories are in conflict with the mental and cognitive requirements of today's children, it is necessary to determine criteria and standards that can respond to the searching and meaning-seeking minds of children. The purpose of this research is to provide models for choosing suitable mystical stories for children so that their spiritual intelligence can be improved through them. The psychological basis of the current research is Piaget's theory of cognitive development and spiritual intelligence. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method, examines those mystical stories that have the ability to improve spiritual intelligence in children, of course, through rewriting, rereading and re-creating children. The results of the research indicate that stories that include concepts such as promoting human values and virtues, relying on spiritual resources to solve problems, exaltation and a sense of sanctity to the metaphysical will be effective in improving the spiritual intelligence of children at the stage of objective thinking.
